The start of summer is here, maybe not in the weather, but the summer months--June, July, and August--are here. At the Christian bookstore the other day, mom found a book on activities families could do together, and looking through it, they sound pretty fun to do. A couple of the activities I remember reading about was doing a scavenger hunt in your backyard, and on one day switching the role as parents and children. With that one, it talked about the parents acting as the children and so on (you get the picture). At the end of the day, ask each other what it is like switching roles and using a biblical basis for it. The book is quite clever in choosing various activities.

Sounds like a good book! However, along the lines of parents and children temporarily switching roles; It would be a challenge to keep our house standing without my parents guidance:)
